Q&A Recruiting was started in Dallas, Texas with the single purpose of being the premier provider of accounting and finance professionals in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Q&A opened a division specializing in tax. This division was started by Amy Burleson, a UT Austin grad who spent 2 years in KPMG's Tax group, and then worked with Tenet healthcare. Amy is now an Associate Partner at Q&A.

Q&A started two additional divisions in 2000. The first was the Contract Accounting and Finance group to compliment the direct hire divisions in providing contract and contract to hire services to our existing client base and to expand our service level in DFW.

Q&A also started the Accounting Support division in 2000, which specializes in A/P, A/R, Payroll and the other critical support functions within the accounting operations area.

Q&A added the Human Resources division under the umbrella of our Accounting Support group. This division recruits in all specialty areas of HR including placing internal recruiters into our client companies as their hiring needs grow.

Q&A diversified our specialized services to provide client support in the information technology field. Q&A offers both direct hire and contract recruiting/staffing solutions in IT. The Managing Director of Q&A's Technical Division, Ron Daniels, has been in the recruiting industry since 1994, including 7 years as a manager and consistent top producer with MATRIX Resources. His other experience includes success as a COO for a national retained healthcare search firm, and previously as a Director for Kaye/Bassman International. Ron graduated from Baylor University in 1993.

Q&A announces the launch of our new Houston location. Headquartered in the Galleria area, Q&A Houston will offer both Contract and Direct Hire recruiting services in the areas of accounting and finance beginning July 1st 2007. The Managing Director of this location, Mark McConnell, is a graduate of Texas Tech who began his career in the search profession in 1996 with the Dallas office of Robert Half, where he excelled as both a Direct Hire recruiter and Division Director. Later he joined Accounting Solutions as an Area Vice President where he led six Texas locations. Mark then spent five years in executive retained search as a Consultant with Heidrick & Struggles International in their Houston office. Most recently Mark was a Regional Director of Search & Placement with RemX Financial Staffing.
