Shannon Smith, CTS
Associate Partner/Managing Director – Contract Accounting 

Shannon brings over 10 years of recruiting expertise to our Accounting Now division. Shannon holds a Bachelors Degree in Public Relations from The University of North Texas. She began her staffing career with Robert Half's Office Team division where she was a top producer and promoted to Division Director. Shannon's ability to connect with her clients and candidates have helped her build relationships that have also made her a top producer with Accounting Now.  Shannon was named an Associate Partner in 2005 and promoted to Managing Director of our Downtown branch in 2009. She continues to develop her network of professional contacts in the accounting industry as a member of the American Payroll Association. Her current responsibilities include new hire training for Accounting Now. 

Jennifer Metcalf
Associate Partner – Tax Recruiting

Jennifer graduated Cum Laude from University of North Texas . She began her career in recruiting and established herself as both a top producer and sales manager with a local firm before joining us in 2004.  After several years as a top producer,  she was promoted to Managing Director in 2007 and assumed leadership of the Las Colinas office.   Jennifer was named an Associate Partner with Q&A in 2009.  Since then, Jennifer's focus and talents have been directed toward business development for Q&A in our Accounting and Tax divisions.    

Philana Martin
Associate Partner – Financial Recruiting 

Philana has more than 13 years experience in the recruiting industry with both direct hire and contract services. She began her recruiting career in one of the New York offices of Robert Half where she was a Division Director in the Contract Accounting group. She was awarded for billing over $1M, and later served as a recruiting manager in the Direct Hire division where she remained a top producer area wide. Philana joined us in 2002 after relocating to Dallas with her family, and was named an Associate Partner in 2005. She has consistently been one of the top producers in the Financial Recruiting Division and continues to mentor new staff while growing her personal book of business.   

Emily Rogers, CPA
Associate Partner – Financial Recruiting 

Emily graduated with highest honors from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors and Masters in Accounting.  She passed the CPA exam on her first attempt her final semester at A&M.  Emily began her career as a Tax Associate in the Dallas office of E&Y. She also spent 3 years working as a Senior Internal Auditor for American Airlines prior to beginning her recruiting career with us in 2006.  During her time with our firm, Emily has demonstrated the same levels of dedication and high achievement by earning Rookie of the Year and Top Biller of the Year. 

Laura Pickard
Associate Partner – Accounting Support and Human Resources 

Laura has enjoyed more than 12 years in the staffing industry! After graduating with a Finance degree from Oklahoma University, she started her career in financial services. She spent more than 6 years with the local DFW offices of Robert Half where she held multiple roles including Division Director in the Contract Accounting group and top producer for the Salaried Professional Services team.  Laura has been the backbone of the Accounting Support Division since 2006. Her extensive network in Human Resources and Payroll throughout DFW have earned her an outstanding reputation in the market. Laura has remained active in supporting the American Payroll Association and the IAPP.    

Eric Olschewsky
Associate Partner – Financial Recruiting 

Eric graduated from the Texas A&M Professional Program with a BBA degree in Accounting and a Master of Science degree in Finance.  He began his career as an Auditor for Deloitte & Touche and joined us in 2006.  His contacts and knowledge of the local market have earned him the reputation for providing the highest level of customer service to both candidates and clients.
